According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's National School Lunch Program, school nutrition services are required to adhere to specific federal regulations in accommodating special diets for students.
- Food Allergies
In the case of a milk allergy, we offer a nutritionally equivalent replacement of soy milk.
- Medically Documented Celiac Disease or Gluten Intolerance
If your child has celiac disease or gluten intolerance and we have received the above Special Diet Statement for your child with a physician's signature, your child is able to receive gluten free foods. Our gluten free menu is planned each month to resemble the normal lunch menu as closely as possible.
- Disabilities or Medical Conditions
Participant has a disability or medical condition that requires a special meal or dietary accommodation.
- Lactose Intolerance In cases of lactose intolerance, we offer a nutritionally equivalent replacement of lactose-free milk. Juice is not an acceptable substitute.
